In 2025, Limels carried out a compassionate outreach project in Kwamoso, Ghana, focused on supporting a young, brilliant boy who has been facing serious educational and living challenges.
Despite his strong potential and eagerness to learn, his difficult circumstances have made it hard for him to fully thrive in school.
The boy lives with his grandmother, who relies on farming as their primary source of survival. Their living conditions were extremely poor, lacking basic necessities required for comfort, stability, and a supportive learning environment.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Limels team stepped in to provide both educational and household support. To enhance the boy’s academic journey at Kwamoso Presbyterian Primary School, the team provided school uniforms, stationery, school bags, shoes, and sandals. These essentials are expected to boost his confidence, improve attendance, and enable him to fully participate in school activities.
The outreach was conducted in collaboration with the school, with the headmaster and teachers of Kwamoso Presbyterian Primary School present to support and witness the initiative. Their involvement ensured that the assistance provided was aligned with the boy’s educational needs and overall wellbeing.
In addition to educational materials, Limels also worked to improve their living conditions by providing floor carpets and a mattress, offering them a more comfortable and dignified place to rest. Groceries and clean water were also supplied to support their daily needs.
To promote long-term sustainability, the team went a step further by providing additional items for the grandmother to sell as part of a small startup business. This initiative is aimed at helping her generate income, reduce financial hardship, and create a more stable future for both herself and her grandson.
This outreach reflects Limels’ commitment to creating meaningful and lasting impact—supporting education, restoring dignity, and empowering families within communities across Ghana.
